Why Charlotte Vintage?

We’re Stan and Katrina Teague, best friends and married for almost 30 years – we own and operate Charlotte Vintage, the largest showroom of authentic mid-century modern furniture in the greater Charlotte and Lake Norman area. We started Charlotte Vintage from our own collection of iconic mid-century modern pieces curated over twenty years. We quickly found demand from clients who wanted to buy and sell high end authentic mid-century modern furniture in a curated environment. 

Items we love: 

We specialize in selling authentic Mid-Century Modern, Danish Modern, Art Deco and Post-Modern furniture, lighting, original artwork, signed original prints and home accessories. We’re particularly interested in pieces designed by iconic or well-known designers and made by brand name manufacturers between the Mid- to Late 20th Century. 

We take on consignment items in very good condition, in working order and not in need of repair. PLEASE clean items prior to delivering to Charlotte Vintage. We don't take:

• Headboards (except for King size and rare signed pieces)
• Large Armoires or China Hutches
• Pianos
• Books, record albums
• Electronics
• Antiques, earlier than 1930

How it works:

• Send us info and photos of your items to email info@charlottevintage.com.
• We’ll let you know within 48 hours if we can take your item(s) on consignment.
• We will agree to a drop off date for your item(s). You are responsible for bringing the items to the showroom. We are happy to recommend reputable local movers.
• We conduct research and price each item using available tools, our knowledge of the industry and the market.
• Once sold we pay you 50% of the selling price (exception: 75% for local artists only). Checks are printed and ready for pick up on the 15th of the month.
• If an item has not sold within the first 30 days, it is reduced by up to 15%. The item will be reduced by up to another 15% after 60 days, then again after 90.
• Items that do not sell after 90 days must be picked up within the following month. Items in stock for more than 120 days will be donated. Please be advised that this will happen without further notice to the Consignor.
