We love this 1960s teak easy chair, made in Denmark by Glostrup. It’s in great shape with exception of the cushions - the fabric is lovely but the foam and filling are shot.

Help us choose fabric from @modernfabrics for a refresh! We picked samples that we felt kept the integrity of the original piece, while adding a modern flair.

Reflecting…Stan and I are 3 years into growing our small business and we’re having fun (still!). We’re also still learning everyday, which keeps it dynamic - and full of opportunity!

The most fun part of our business is sourcing new finds, the thrill of the hunt, staging, and working with our clients to find the perfect pieces. Nothing makes us happier than a thrilled client who finds the perfect piece @charlottevintagefurniture.

As anyone in business for themselves also knows, there’s a lot of behind the scenes work that’s not so glamorous - monthly tax reporting (top of the list), SEI and navigating social media as baby boomers, moving really solid furniture being just a few examples…

With the business growing, we were able to bring on Jenna @jennary825 in 2022 as our first teammate extraordinaire! In 2023, we’ve added more experts to the team (tax, bookkeeping, moving,etc) so we can dedicate time to clients and sourcing. With that said, we wouldn’t trade the experience of navigating the new and touching everything from the start - I think it’s helped us appreciate and understand the work involved and make the business stronger.

As our learning journey continues, we sincerely appreciate you - our friends, clients, Consignors, family, and followers - for supporting us with words of encouragement, engagement, sharing and of course shopping!
